Our Plus One News Central (+1NC) file regarding E Jean Carroll vs Donald J Trump (DJT) is incomplete. We have not been able to determine if Donald J Trump complied with your petition to provide his DNA sample & the matter of being a sex offender via the civil decision.

Our research file states : In the defamation case of E. Jean Carroll vs Donald J. Trump, Roberta Kaplan, Carroll’s attorney, did not receive a DNA sample from Donald Trump. A federal judge, Lewis A. Kaplan, rejected an offer by Trump’s legal team to provide a DNA sample to rebut claims made by Carroll. The judge stated that both parties had over three years to make DNA an issue in the case and chose not to do so. He also mentioned that it would likely delay the trial scheduled to start on April 25 1. Carroll’s lawyers had sought Trump’s DNA for three years to compare it with stains found on the dress Carroll wore on the day she says Trump raped her 1. However, the judge noted that reopening the DNA issue would introduce a complicated new subject into the case that both sides elected not to pursue over a period of years 1"

Therein, it does appear that the petition for the DNA sample could be a reconsidered contention matter in the filed DJT appeal.

Perhaps, we are in error on this point.

However, within our research is the outstanding question of whether or not DJT is compelled to appear before a judge to determine if the civil decision - which included the sexual assault as affirmed - compels DJT to be registered under the NYS Sex Offender Registry.
